Supersocial

Supersocial is a nomadic social platform facilitating discussion and networking opportunities between a variety of practitioners in the arts. As a traveling unit, Supersocial is arranged during biennials, art fairs and at opening events. In that aspect Supersocial is a parasite on already existing infrastructures. Its function is to channel resources for the benefit of local art communities. Among its aims are to provide networking opportunities, to make the most of temporary visitors (artists, critics, curators) and introduce them to local networks for exchange of information, to loosen up divisions between established and less established practitioners and to generally have a good time together.
Supersocial appeared in the following places: Venice (Mexican pavilion 2007), Murcia (PAC 2008), Shanghai (Art & Life 366, Zendai museum 2008), London (FRED 2005), Liverpool (various venues 2005-08), Madrid (Daniel Canogar 2007-08, Juan Luis Moraza 2006).
