The seminar is part of the creation of Stockholm Citytellers. An interdisciplinary group of architects, sociologists and culture geographers, among others, participate in a discussion on issues related to the explorative work of Francesco Jodice.
       6 – 8.30pm Screening of São Paulo Citytellers followed by Francesco Jodice in conversation with Ana Dzokic and Marc Neelen of STEALTH,moderated by Cecilia Andersson.
       In Practice: Francesco Jodice is produced by Magnus Ericson and Robert Stasinski, Iaspis, in collaboration with curator Cecilia Anderson and Arkitekturmuseet, Stockholm.
       São Paulo Citytellers is screened as part of the exhibition On Cities; maps, cars, people and narratives in the urban environment at Arkitekturmuseet, 4 March – 4 May.
       The first presentation comprises a seminar and a lecture by the Italian artist and architect, Francesco Jodice, whose research project Citytellers describes the contemporary phenomenon of urban transformation. On multiple levels and with an interdisciplinary approach, Jodice explores the urban landscape as the projection of people’s desires. Originally produced for the 2006 São Paulo Biennial, Citytellers is an artwork as well as a series in television format. At present, Jodice is working on a series of Cityteller projects including Los Angeles and Stockholm.
