  SuperSocial

Liverpool Biennial
28 September – 23 November 2006
Werk runs Supersocial – a platform of activities during the Liverpool Biennial 2006.

Supersocial is a nomadic social platform facilitating discussion and networking opportunities between a variety of practitioners in the arts. As a traveling unit, Supersocial is arranged during biennials, art fairs and at opening events. In that aspect Supersocial is a parasite on already existing infrastructures. Its function is to channel resources for the benefit of local art communities. Among its aims are to provide networking opportunities, to make the most of temporary visitors (artists, critics, curators) and introduce them to local networks for exchange of information, to loosen up divisions between established and less established practitioners and to generally have a good time together.
Supersocial takes place every Thursday from 6-8pm during the biennial. Venues vary, please keep an eye on this space or send an email to c@werkprojects.org for weekly updates.
Supersocial promotes discussions, interventions, screenings, excursions, excavations, explorations and much more and is hosted by our weekly invited guests.
